"Playing the drums has always been my 'thing', but I love engineering as well. The problem is I was wasting valuable time having to reference my mixes in many different places to finally 'get' the mix. I thought I loved my current speakers, until I kept running into the same problem of non-translating mixes. After hearing the word on the Barefoots, I had to try them. I remixed a tune for a current project, and for the first time EVER, I took it to different listening environments, and it was exactly what it was in my studio. For once, the total sonic spectrum was the same, no surprises, no going back to 'correct' something I just wasn't hearing in my room. Not only do the mm 27's allow mixes to translate beautifully everywhere, they just SOUND fantastic. I never knew 'flat' sounded SO good! And, they are the first speaker I've had that correlate well with the NS 10's, although I don't really need them now with the BFt's! And no more Sub! I was really sold after trying another brand popular in the forums for comparing to the Barefoots, and took them down within an hour! Needless to say, I'm SOLD! Just don't know what I'll do now that I have to wait for mine!"

"I was originally looking for a speaker with enough low end that they wouldn't need an additional sub woofer. The Barefoot's gave me exactly that. I can now tell how much low end there is, what kind, and how it will react to other systems. They are loud enough to track a rock band, detailed and accurate enough to master on, and also work great at low volumes when mixing. They have eliminated the need for multiple listening devices, and have cut out the trips to the car! They are a great time saver and are also a blast to just enjoy listening to music with!!"
